Óbidos Surfers Cove

Big things are happening! Construction is underway on Surfers Cove in Óbidos, a new €25 million project featuring Portugal's first Wavegarden Cove lagoon. The development aims to open in late 2026, and offers safe waves for everyone from children to pros.

All of this is only 20 minutes by car from Casa Piccadilly

If you haven't yet been to Óbidos

Imagine a walled city with a stone castle on a hill with beautiful bougainvillea trailing over the walls inside tiny cobblestone streets with gorgeous tile around every corner, smiles welcoming you into several lively restaurants, cafes selling iced matcha or Ginjinha from a chocolate cup, an expansive bookstore selling international books, local produce, wine and more. It’s adorable.
